Seedtime and Harvest

Genesis 8:22 - "While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, and day and night Shall not cease."

Here we see that God established the principle of the Seed and the Law of Seedtime and Harvest.

God was pleased with Noah after he built an altar and sacrificed to the Lord. This was the very first thing Noah did after he got of the ark.

God then made promises to man kind through the faith of Noah. (Genesis 8:21-22 - 9:1-17) And in verse 22 God established the Law of Seedtime and Harvest.

Since God created everything, He gave it the ability to grow and multiply through the Seed. We live because of the principle of the Seed. And from our birth everything that happens to us is because of a seed which was sown, everything good and everything bad. We might not always be aware of our seed-planting, but still the principle is working.

It is like the principle or law of gravity. We do not see it and we do not always thinking about it, but still the law is working. If you would step off a high building, you will fall down to the ground. You can pray and you can rebuke the enemy, but you will still fall. This law is in existence whether you know it or not, and whether you like it or not.

This is also true for the Law of Seedtime and Harvest. You can say you do not believe it. You can pray and rebuke the enemy because you live in luck. You can repeat all the promises in the Word of God concerning increase and prosperity, but if you do not sow, you will not reap.

Then off cause it is not only concerning money. What ever you sow, you will reap. Even as you do not believe in the Law of Seedtime and Harvest, you are sowing daily.

When you are helping someone, and give a smile, you are sowing. If you cause strife, you are sowing. And in the end what you have sown, you will reap.

The saying goes: "If you need a friend, then be a friend". That is sowing and reaping. Or what about: "What goes around comes around?" That is sowing and reaping.

Whether you are consciously aware of it or not, you are a sower.

Therefore it is good to be careful what you sow. Take time and think about it. Make a decision today to start sowing "good seed". Make a list of what you need and start sowing the seed which will bring the harvest to pass. Do you need love? Then start loving others. Do you need healing? Start praying for other sick people. Do you need money to live in prosperity? Then start sowing money into "good" ground. (Luke 8:5-15)

To overcome the need you have, start living with the Law of Seedtime and Harvest. Then see your life become fruitful and you start to multiply. This will happen in your health, finances, family, you're spiritual live, in your whole being.
